Hello, how are you doing? It's been a busy time for me, gearing up for my exhibition at ArtSource Art Fair Dublin. The juggle-struggle of a full-time job, part-time artist career, family life, not to mention a serious dose of man-flu, have kept me on my toes. The later, more confined to my armchair, but hopefully I'm over the worst of it. Add in trying to keep on top of building the business side of an art empire and the resulting admin it entails (including writing these blog and social media posts), all I'll say is thank goodness for the behind the scenes minions, who keep the cogs turning.
For the longest time now I've been contemplating offering prints of my work. Well, I've stopped contemplating and started acting. The buildup to my first exhibition at ArtSource https://www.artsource.ie/ (Stand K6), seemed the perfect opportunity to launch a small collection of limited edition signed prints. So far, I have chosen four paintings to reproduce, from my still life interiors series, which are getting incredible reactions.
It's a big deal deciding to get my work reproduced. The control freak in me wants to see only the best quality reproduction, which remains true to the tones and textures in my original paintings. The Copperhouse, https://www.thecopperhouse.ie/ have been a brilliant discovery, a one-stop-shop for fine art services and reproduction. They have done an amazing job of turning my work into print and the quality is exceptional. I am hugely grateful to the team there, for all their help and advice in making this happen.

At the moment just these four prints are available, but if the demand is such that people are excited to be able to access my work at a more affordable price point, I will look to offer other paintings in print form going forward. I'm very aware that the cost of my original artworks can be accessible only to the privileged few. Knowing how much beautiful art means to me and the pleasure I get from adding to my collection, I love the idea more and more of you can have an ArtistGMD work on your wall.
